Lucy Loves a Cool Breeze

I can't remember when Laura, my quirky yet charming sister, started giving people what she called a "cool breeze." Usually a cool breeze is given at random, perhaps while sitting in church or out to dinner. She might even employ the technique when a family member is irritated or angry in an attempt to soothe. (Yes, this is strange, but keep in mind that Laura is also the person who began calling the baby Bruce when I was pregnant.)

Somehow the administering of a "cool breeze" caught on with all of us, and Brandon even joined in the fun when he became part of our family. Brandon decided to try the technique on Lucy, and much to his surprise and delight, he discovered we have a new method for quieting her down when she's fussy.
