Today I made "special" pancakes for breakfast. This means they are made from a mix rather than just heating up the frozen ones. Barefoot Contessa, watch out.
Lucy ate the entire batch, which usually feeds all four of us. Poor Jack got left out since he's still snoozing. I laughed as I gave Lucy the last pancake, then we had the following conversation:
L: "I really like these pancakes, don't I?"
M: "You really do!" Laughing.
L: "When Daddy will come home, I will say that to him. I will laugh."
M: More laughing.
L: "Was that funny?"
