Lucy's Travels, Part Two

We arrived in Michigan to rain, which didn't let up all weekend. My parents joke that we bring bad weather with us every time we visit Michigan, and I think they are correct. The rain didn't stop us from taking a fun boat ride to celebrate Aunt Mary and Uncle Wayne's 50th anniversary, but unfortunately the inclement weather did prevent a formal family photograph. (Sadly, this is a big deal as our last family photo was taken in the summer of 1981.) Here are a few highlights from our trip:

Lucy sacked out after her big plane ride.

My Mom and Aunt Mary (aka "The Bride). Mary and Wayne celebrated their 50th anniversary!

Since the rain didn't allow us to stroll along the pier in Grand Haven, we had to kill time in a local coffee shop. Lucy spent the afternoon playing with her favorite aunties.

The happy girl!

One of the highlights of our trip was meeting Katie, Lucy's second cousin, who is only 10 days younger. Katie lives in Ohio with her parents, Betsy and Peter.
