No, Lucy didn't vote today, but she did accompany us to our local polling place this morning to help us cast our votes. I can't help but wonder what Election Day 2026 will be like as Lucy votes for the first time. No matter what your political leanings may be, I'm hopeful that by then, Lucy and her peers will live in a world where it's not a focal point of the campaign to have a female or a person of color running for a major office.
