Lucy and I recently stopped by my former stomping grounds, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, to further develop her appreciation of art. We got a sneak-peek of the new special exhibition, Noble Dreams & Simple Pleasures, which features some incredible artworks from a few of our very own Minnesota collectors. I picked out several favorites, including this Winslow Homer picture, but couldn't figure a way how to smuggle it out of the building. (Of course, I am kidding, kind of.)

While Lucy enjoyed our stroll through the galleries, I think the highlight of our outing was connecting with her buddies Wilson and Ryker. Wilson, pictured in the middle with his mom Rachael, is four months younger than Lucy. Ryker, with his mom Jamie on the right, is only 12 hours younger. (Some of you might know that Lucy has another friend, Connor, who is only 5 hours younger than she. Connor and Ryker were actually born the same day in the same hospital but haven't met.)
Wilson and Ryker did a good job of posing for a few photos, but Lucy was too busy poking Will and trying to nibble on his ear.

Amy, also in our department, had a baby boy named Axel in February, but they weren't able to make it to this get-together. This photo should have also probably included our supervisor, Julianne, as all four mommies reported to her!
