Maybe this title is too heavy for such a cheerful and light-hearted holiday, but the day did prove a bit traumatic for Lucy. In an attempt to document her first Valentine's Day, we learned that Lucy does not care for tissue paper. To be more precise, she is terrified of it, and she let us know a few seconds after taking this photo.
I'm hopeful that with time, Lucy will grow to love Valentine's Day as much as I do. Sure, it's a "Hallmark" holiday, but who doesn't need a little pick-me-up in the middle of a gray and dreary winter that seems to never end?
