News: Yes, Photos: No

Life has been hectic the past couple of weeks, and somehow I've neglected to bring our camera along for the ride. What have we been up to, you ask? Playing at the park, splashing in the pool, attending birthday parties, and spending loads of quality time with our families during the holiday weekend.

But the most exciting development is the purchase of our new house! Between Lucy's ever-expanding collection of stuff and the upcoming arrival of baby #2, we are quickly outgrowing our current place. We'll be moving in mid-September to our new digs, still in Plymouth, and located only one neighborhood away from Grandma and Grandpa Hagen. In fact, our new house is on Black Oaks Lane, which should be easy for me to remember considering I grew up on the same street. Our world is very small indeed...

Now to the more exciting stuff--Lucy news. It's like she hit the one-year-mark and began changing overnight. She is picking up new words and gestures every day, and we love seeing her personality develop. She's still on the verge of walking and occasionally will take a couple of steps on her own. Her love of water is growing now that we've been spending lots of time at the pool, and we're thinking she might be part fish. The kid has no fear and is at her happiest when she's being thrown or dunked. Photos to come!
