At least that's how we're feeling at our house. Today I learned that I'm already 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced, and my doctor told me this baby will definitely arrive in 2009. What remains to be seen is whether the babe arrives on his/her own or if I am induced at 39 weeks. (We'd do that because all signs are that this baby is going to be big...we'll see if that proves to be true.)
But before we get too excited, I have to remember that I was dilated with Lucy for more than 5 weeks before she finally made her grand entrance! Even with that reminder, it's hard not to think that this baby will arrive any day.
