Lucy wasn't able to see us at the hospital due to some restrictions relating to the H1N1 outbreak. So we were anxious to get home to see her and introduce our two kiddos to one another.
After a lengthy nap, Lucy came downstairs to discover a new little creature in her family room. She has been talking about "baby" for weeks, but I don't think this is what she expected! Lucy was very curious and immediately began poking Jack's eyes and giving him kisses. She was extremely distraught when he cried and tried to comfort him with a pacifier. (We'll have to work on getting the pacifier in Jack's mouth and not the eye or nose!)
I'm not sure I can adequately describe how I felt seeing our two babies together...amazed, overwhelmed, but mainly blessed more than I could imagine.
