Summertime in Minnesota...finally! The sunshine and warm weather is especially delightful after what seemed like a particularly long winter of being cooped up indoors. We have been spending as much time outside as we can each day. A couple weeks ago we hit the park with Mamie for a picnic.
Lucy had a tough decision between applesauce and a cookie. So, naturally, she tried to eat both at once. I attempted to assist her by spooning the applesauce and was quickly reprimanded. "Do self," she said. This seems to be one of her favorite phrases, right after "NO." Our little girl is acting exactly as a 2-year-old is supposed to behave!
Oh, yes, I almost forgot to point out that Lucy did her own hair this day too. Headbands are a hit. Putting in pigtails (or "pig-taggles" as she says) is another daily battle with our headstrong gal.
