The whole Hopkins clan headed to Colorado Springs on Labor Day weekend to celebrate Great-Grandma's 90th birthday. In between birthday festivities, we squeezed in a trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo with Mamie and Papa. The zoo is home to one of the largest populations of giraffes in captivity, and Lucy and Papa got to feed the giraffes a few cookies. We also saw a baby albino wallaby, but Lucy was more impressed with the giant bottle of hand sanitizer sitting next to him.
A whirlwind weekend, but lots of fun with the whole fam!
