My little elves were excellent helpers this Christmas. Jack tried to take off as many ornaments as his chubby hands could grab, and Lucy made it her job to put them back on. Usually this was accompanied by Lucy saying "No, Jack Buddy." Jack particularly enjoyed talking to the tree, especially a shiny red ornament at Nana's house.
Lucy really got into the spirit as we decorated the house for Christmas. One morning, I heard her near the tree singing "decorate, decorate, decorate the Christmas tree." She even had a nice little tune, and it took me a minute to realize it was a song from the Christmas episode of Yo Gabba Gabba.
Another time, I heard her shouting, "Oh, look, Mommy, look. I put the necklace on the tree all by myself." Here is proof of her handiwork.
