My doctor's visits now occur every two weeks, and Auntie Molly joined me on Wednesday for my Week 30 check-up. Molly loved hearing the baby's heartbeat, but I think the highlight for her was seeing the doctor whip out the measuring tape to chart my belly growth.
The doc casually mentioned that my belly is growing a week or two ahead of schedule. At first, I thought this was her very kind and diplomatic way of telling me to lay off the Ben and Jerry's. But, she said my weight is fine and isn't related to the growth of my belly. She reassured me by saying there's plenty of time for the baby's growth to slow down, but she did caution me not to expect a five-pound kiddo!
Brandon thinks it's hilarious to mention how El Baberino (one of his favorite nicknames) might set a new record at Abbott when he/she arrives. My Dad also asked if "I'm going for the record." Let's hope not!
