Now that we're settling in to our new life at home, we have a little more time to share some of the details of Lucy's grand entrance.
After an extremely long weekend anticipating the baby's overdue arrival, we checked in to the hospital on the morning of Monday, June 23. We were both excited to know our baby would finally be making an appearance soon.
Fast forward to 7:44 pm, when we finally met our new baby girl! Seeing Lucy for the first time was the most incredible moment of both our lives. After spending some time getting to know one another, we called our families to share the good news. They had been waiting to hear from us all day, and they quickly arrived at the hospital to meet the new family member.
The proud aunties! Aunt Laura came from Chicago to be here to meet Lucy. Aunt Molly and Lucy share the same middle name.
