Lucy has been watching "Annie" this summer, which I've realized is not really a kid-friendly movie. Somehow as a child, I missed the part that Miss Hannigan is making bathtub gin in her apartment. Lucy did pick up that Miss Hannigan drinks her "water" from the flower pot.
The best part of Lucy's obsession is her ability to put her own spin on the music. Here she is with her rendition of "Tomorrow." I'll have to get one of her singing "Hard Knof Like," which is how she says it. She also demands a wet paper towel as one of her props for the song. My favorite part about Lucy's singing is her confidence. She doesn't let not knowing the words get in the way of her belting out her favorite songs.
Be sure to watch her driver who tries to escape toward the end of the performance.
