Between our trip to Arizona last weekend and a hectic work week, we had to delay my birthday celebration with my family a few days. Last night Brandon and I joined my parents and Molly for a very tasty dinner at Bacio. I highly recommend trying the gelato! I think the baby shares my appreciation of all things sweet, because I had felt lots of wiggling around afterward.
My family went a little overboard with birthday gifts this year, and my Dad even got in on the action by doing some shopping of his own. (Those of you who know my Dad understand it is quite extraordinary for him to step foot in a mall. You might be surprised to learn that he has a hidden talent as a stylist, which he has only recently begun to reveal to us!) Thanks to my parents and sisters, I now have some very cute spring clothes. After what feels like an exceptionally long and cold winter, I'm ready for the warm weather.
