It's hard to believe I'm almost through week 28. Yesterday I had a visit with the doctor, and the big milestone is that I passed the glucose test for gestational diabetes. Even though this condition is pretty rare, I'm still relieved. I also learned that the baby weighs a little more than 2 pounds and measures about 14.5 inches long.
I'm thankful everything continues to go well, and I'm feeling great. Even though I'm dead tired by the end of the day (and by end of the day I mean 8 or 9 pm), I'm having a little trouble falling asleep. My cousin, Stefani, gave me this fabulous herbal tea (thanks again, Stef!) that is a great help.
I think I say this all the time, but it's hard to believe how quickly the days are flying by now. My nesting instinct has definitely kicked in, and I'm finding lots of house-related projects to be finished before the baby arrives. Most important, the nursery is really coming together, thanks to Brandon. We'll post photos of his handiwork in the next couple days.
