Molly and I took a quick weekend trip to Chicago to visit Laura and the Webers. We packed a lot in our less than 48-hour stay. The highlights include eating a tasty dinner at Frontera (one of my favorite restaurants that you must try if you're in Chicago), seeing the Chicago River dyed green in honor of St. Patrick's Day (you can see the bright green dye in the photo to the right if you look close), shopping on Michigan Avenue and in Bucktown, and treating ourselves to manicures and pedicures. 
On Saturday at Luxbar, the restaurant was serenaded by a bunch of bagpipers. Unfortunately I couldn't get a very good photo, but you can kind of make them out in the picture below.
The weekend went by too quickly as always, but the good thing is that both Laura and the Webers will be in town next weekend. And the even better news is that the Webers are moving back to Minnesota in another month!
