After our journey to Dublin, we were feeling like seasoned travelers. So for our last weekend in Europe, we decided to take the high-speed Eurostar train to Paris. Not only would we be leaving the British Isles, but we'd be entering a non-English speaking country as well. Time to put those high school French classes to the test.
Before setting out on our first evening in Paris, Lucy offered her navigational skills.
We braved the cold temps (Paris was surprisingly colder than London) to see the Eiffel Tower. We decided to take a pass on the long wait to go to the top and get something to eat instead.
The Eiffel Tower lights up at the top of every hour. We were a bit too far away for Lucy to see it and be mesmerized by the sparkly light show.
Perhaps my favorite spot to visit in Paris - Notre Dame. Stay tuned for daytime photos in our next post.
Even though people kept telling us how baby-friendly Parisians are, we had trouble finding a restaurant that would accommodate our baby and her large stroller. So, after searching the streets of Paris for hours, we indulged in traditional dishes of Steak au Poivre and Moules, both with a side of frites, of course. Lucy opted for the serviette instead.

Wow! I truly can't believe what a world traveler Lucy is! I mean most people don't get to see the Eiffel tower until much, much later in life! Where is she off to next?
