Brandon and I celebrated our very first baby shower on Saturday with friends and family. Guys and gals were on hand to help us welcome our new baby. Aunties-to-be Molly and Laura co-hosted the shower along with honorary Auntie Rachael.
The ladies went above and beyond to host a fabulous party. The festivities included libations (for some!) and tons of tasty snacks (the cupcakes were particularly yummy). We even had a diaper-changing contest, using the old-fashioned cloth diapers and pins. The twist was each of us only got to use one hand. Grandma and Grandpa Hopkins smoked the competition with the fastest time, but the doll was never inspected for pin holes. Brandon and I were simply happy to get the diaper on the doll.
We feel so lucky to have such generous and thoughtful family and friends who share our excitement about the baby's arrival!
